When we gather for worship, we find our center. We offer prayer and praise and leave prepared to meet the week ahead.
Worship  at Christ Church is both vibrant and contemplative: a combination of a highly liturgical form taken from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, fused with contemporary and traditional styles. We strive toward creative and meaningful worship. Eucharist is celebrated at each service and through this Holy Communion we connect with God and with each other.

Sunday worship services are planned alike and offered twice so you can choose a time that works best for your household. Nursery care is provided for children 3 and under and Sunday School or Children's Chapel is available at 9:00 AM for elementary-aged children.

Our Saturday evening worship service is similar to our Sunday morning services, and tends to be more contemporary. People dress more casually for this service, including our clergy and worship leaders, and there is a praise band.

During worship we sing, hear from the scriptures, respond to the scriptures in prayer, and share in the Eucharist, which is also known as Holy Communion or the Lord's Supper. Everyone who worships at Christ Church is welcome to receive Eucharist.

Worship in the Episcopal Church is based on the Book of Common Prayer, a liturgical book that provides a foundation for how we worship and helps guide our practice. Episcopalians worship in many different styles, from very formal rites with incense; to informal, casual services with contemporary music. Christ Church falls somewhere in the middle. For example, it is common in many Episcopal churches to kneel for prayer but this is not practiced at Christ Church.

Music is an important part of worship at Christ Church. Blending traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs, we are blessed with a vibrant and accomplished music ministry that provides inspiration and reflection for the week ahead.

Anything that is to be recited by worshippers is printed in the worship bulletin and projected on screens, as well.
