womens bible study 2

We meet on Wednesday mornings We are studying “David: Seeking a Heart Like His,” by Beth Moore. This study will last about 20 weeks and will include videos and homework. (We take twice the number of weeks to do the study to allow for extra discussion time and to make it easier to get homework done!) We will meet weekly from 9:30-11:30. Please contact Jen Hoerrner  if have any questions or would like to join.
Childcare is provided. Participants are welcome to join at any time.

mens bible study

The group meets on Thursday mornings from 7:00 am - 8:15 am. We follow the Emmaus notes that are provided by our clergy, to prepare us for Sunday’s worship. The purpose of our group is to study the Bible, looking at issues facing men in their daily lives from a Christian point of view, and also to enjoy fellowship and interaction with each other. No homework..but plenty of coffee and great conversation. Participants are welcome to join at any time.

emmaus groups logo brown

Emmaus groups are a fun and easy way to connect with others in the community and grow spiritually together. Typically we meet for 8 weeks each fall and again for 8 weeks beginning in January.
Led by a trained facilitator, the groups meet each week to reflect on scripture, pray, support one another, and serve together. Meetings last from sixty to ninety minutes, and typically consist of six to fifteen members. The discussion materials are prepared by clergy, and include reflection questions to help the group engage with the scripture passage selected for that week’s sermon. The format works well for those with many years of Sunday school training, as well as those who are new to bible study. No “homework” is required.
Winter session begins January 29.  Information and registrations HERE

len quiet day logo 2

   Saturday, February 25       9:00 - noon

This will be a morning of prayer and reflection, allowing you to intentionally break away from daily life. Structure and guidance will be provided for those who want it or you can choose to simply spend the time in silence. Treat yourself to a day away from the hustle and bustle in order to prepare for the God who waits for you!

The day will be led by Fontaine Williamson. Fontaine has practiced as a spiritual director for 15 years, and has served in the healing prayer ministry since the early 1990's. She leads a weekly healing prayer service at Westminster-Canterbury and twice- monthly contemplative healing services at Richmond Hill Retreat Center. Fontaine is an administrative assistant for Sandy Gramling and her non-profit organization Grief Hurts...Grace Heals in which they offer retreats, classes and workshops for those grieving the loss of a loved one.She also runs a small business, "Creating Order from Chaos" in which she helps people with decluttering, downsizing, moving, organizing, and clerical work.
