Sunday School

From September to May, on Sundays at 9:00 AM, all children age 3-5th grade are invited to Sunday School in the Education Building. We strive toward a fun and meaningful experience for children that Bible Stories, crafts, and more.

Children of all ages are welcome at every worship service. If your child does not participate in Sunday School, activities are available in our worship space to keep little hands and brain occupied!

Goals of Sunday Morning Formation for Children:
  •     To help kids learn how to apply the Bible to their daily life.
  •     To help them form meaningful relationships with peers and leaders.
  •     To give parents resources to develop faith at home.

Who participates?

All children ages 2 through 5th grade are invited to participate.

Where do I drop off and pick up?

Please drop off preschoolers in the downstairs of the Education Building and elementary schoolers in the large room upstairs (202). After Sunday School, kids are escorted to join their families in worship and do not need to be picked up.

How can I be involved as a parent?

Volunteers are needed to serve as small group/classroom leaders, assistants, greeters/floaters, substitutes or to help “behind the scenes.”

The Spark Story Bible

In Sunday School at Christ Church children will use the Spark Story Bible. It is recommended that each child have her/his own copy of this Bible. If you do not have one, you can purchase a copy here. And there will always be classroom copies available for your child to use at Sunday School!
