To You All Hearts are Open

As Christians we are called to share our time, talent, and treasure. Our stewardship ministry team strives to meet you wherever you are on your giving journey and help you make deliberate choices to share your gifts with others and enjoy the grace of doing so.

Our goal is to help our community:

  • Be good stewards of everything God has given us
  • Connect our faith with our finances
  • Talk more comfortably about money: in our lives, in our homes, and in our church

Our annual giving theme, “All Hearts Open,” is based on the Collect for Purity, which begins “Almighty God, to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hid …”. This annual giving ministry invites people deeply into this rich prayer and into how our hearts are open to God, to ourselves, and to others.

Tools to Discern Your Pledge

Proportional Giving

The biblical pattern of offering our first-fruits, or the first portion of the harvest, is an ancient one. There’s precedent for making that portion 10%, or a tithe. People often find it helpful to start at a percentage of their income that is achievable, but a stretch, and increase it over time. This is proportional giving.  We offer this monthly giving chart  to help you use this method.

Another Method

Some people never choose to use proportional giving, and if that’s you, that’s o.k.  We do ask you to prayerfully consider what financial gift would help you grow your faith, stretching and watching to see how God helps you in that stretch. For more on this, please watch this video message from Bishop Shannon.

Making Your Pledge

To make your pledge, please submit the pledge card you received in the mail or obtain one from the milling area in our worship building. You can also complete your pledge online through Realm. Log in to Realm and click "Giving." If you have questions about Realm, please visit here.
