Lent 2019
The Season of Lent at Christ Church Episcopal

"...Lent comes offering us a chance to recall what's really important, to reconnect with God and others, and to recalibrate habits for the sake of health - our own, our community's and our world's...." Read Bishop Susan Goff's full message here.

Becoming Beloved Community

"Becoming Beloved Community: Racial Reconciliation in the Episcopal Church"
Sundays through April 7, 10:15-10:45 AM, Parlor

“Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor has yourself? Will you strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being?”

As the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement, we dream and work to foster Beloved Communities where all people may experience dignity and abundant life and see themselves and others as beloved children of God. Join your clergy team at these special adult forums as we explore the Episcopal Church’s four-fold path towards racial reconciliation: Telling the Truth, Proclaiming the Dream, Practicing the Way, and Repairing the Breach.

Lenten Devotional Books from Episcopal Relief and Development

Stewardship of Time and Talent Survey
March 10, 17, 24

The bidding to the observance of the season of Lent calls for the study of scripture, prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and self-examination. We will be providing the opportunity during the first three weeks of Lent to do some self-examination of how we steward the gifts of our time and talent. Hard copy and electronic surveys are available. Please return the hard copy surveys to the mailbox in the back of the Milling Area.
