Dear Christ Church Friends,

Christ Church is a people called and commissioned by Christ to be witnesses to the world. Our purpose is nothing less than helping Jesus bring restoration, transformation, and healing to all the world, beginning right here in Short Pump. It is always Good News the Lord offers to all that is, and we invite one another to be part of the Big Story God is creating.

If you have not had an opportunity to complete your pledge cards, you may do so online, or you may pick up pledge cards in the Milling Area and mail them to the church office.

Our hope is that we have each had the opportunity to spend some time with the Time and Talent Catalog, and are prayerfully considering the offering of our time and talents to which God is calling us. If we have not yet had the chance to take a look at the Time and Talent Catalog, copies are available here on the website and in the milling area of the worship building.

We invite one another to take a moment to consider prayerfully how God is calling us to take the next step in the offering of our material resources. What that next step may be looks different for each of us. Maybe it’s to be regular in giving, committing to making a regular weekly or monthly offering. If we are already regular in giving, maybe the next step is to offer an intentional percentage of one’s income, perhaps 3%. If we are already giving proportionately, the next step is to raise that proportion as a step towards the tithe. And always, we remember how God smiles on every act of generosity and trust.

For eighteen years, God has called us to his purpose and made amazing things happen. And there is more in store. So we invite one another to give thanks to our good God, and make an offering through which we are part of God’s Bigger Story.
